Concept
“To love someone is to say, you at least will never die” said by Gabriel Marcel. Although everyone have different definition for this statement, I think we still have a consensus about it, which we call “spirit never die”. Someone may say love is a kind of emotion makes people feel satisfying and hormones basically control that. However, love also means sadness or responsibility. So, what is love? How can people fulfill love? Does love have limitation? Is there anyone totally trusted in it? There is so many questions about love, but at least one thing that should be confirmed. Although love is not an organ, we have visceral sense about it. We can feel it inside.
This video is combining animation with live-action image and there are totally three visual styles in this video. Technically, this project is finding the possible of showing a story with sharp differences in visual style. Mentally, this project is finding the meaning of love in different people’s heart.
Storyline
Two people sit in front of each other. They discuss about an issue. It could be a story or a murder, but they cannot confirm its authenticity. There are some evidences on the table, but the issue still not clear. Are they dead? If no, where are they now? They want to know the trust. However, they stuck at a point. Could we trust these evidences? Could “love” be the key point of this issue?
Two youngers love each other. The girl stays her life for waiting her boy. The boy use his live to fulfill his promise. They can understand each other without talking. They can feel each other without watching. They can love each other without breathing. However, is they truly did all the things about love? Is he doing all the thing because of commitment? Is she only wish for being murdered? Are they using love to cover all the truth or love is the only truth?
